Step back in time with Genesee Community College in Lima, NY as we recreate the Civil War April 27th-29th! Camps featuring both Union and Confederate infantry will find themselves in dangerous proximity to each other, suggesting a skirmish or battle may take place. Join us to witness a small episode in the terrible war that saw, literally, brother fighting brother.
In addition to a lively skirmish, there will be much to see and do as guests are invited to step back 150 years in time and witness what life was like in and around a Civil War encampment. There will be authentic music, spinning and metal working demonstrations, military drills, and a candlelight camp tour on Saturday evening (April 28th).
